Sound Plasma Festival in Berlin

The festival of microtonal music, the Sound Plasma Festival will be held from November 1 to 3 at the Acker Stadt Palast in Berlin. It is a continuation to the first part of the festival held in September in Tallinn.

The festival presents several performances and masterclasses and features various performers such as Ensemble New Music Tallinn, Erik Drescher (glissando flute), Sonja Horlacher (flute), Flavio Virzi (e-guitar), Samuel Ekkehardt Dunscombe (electronics), Nicholas Isherwood (bass-baritone), and Sound Plasma international ensemble.

The concert of the Ensemble New Music Tallinn on November 2 includes works by Cenk Ergün, Raphael Languillat, Pascale Criton, Jeff A. Brown, Nicholas Deyoe, and Arash Yazdani.

The Sound Plasma Festival, launched by the Ensemble New Music Tallinn, has been held since 2017 in Berlin and Tallinn. The Ensemble for New Music in Tallinn is a platform to bring about fresh and newly perceived music to the new generation of public and professionals. In addition to the core members, the ensemble is formed of different collaborators and guest artists. The Artistic Director of the group is Arash Yazdani.
