Tomorrow, on September 12 at 9 pm, pianist Mihkel Poll, a versatile acclaimed musician of younger generation, will give solo recital at Villa Celimontana in Rome. Villa Celimontana is best known for its gardens. The program entitled „Musical Journey to Estonia – Hommage to Arvo Pärt“ introduces piano music by Estonian composers Arvo Pärt, Tõnu Kõrvits, Lepo Sumera, Erkki-Sven Tüür and Eduard Tubin. The concert is dedicated to the 80th anniversary of Arvo Pärt, who celebrates his birthday on September 11. |
Concert is organised in cooperation with Cultural Association Federculture, Estonian Society in Italy and travel literature festival in Rome which patron is Estonian Embassy in Rome.
