On November 22, the portrait concert of Tõnu Kõrvits at the Estonia Concert Hall presents the premiere of his „Nocturanus“ written for gongs and string orchestra. The composer plans to place the gongs in the form of a solar system in the center of the concert hall, and the audience will have the opportunity to sit in the „open space“ and focus on its sounds.
The new work will be performed by Tallinn Chamber Orchestra under Risto Joost with Virgo Veldi (saxophone), Tammo Sumera (electronics), Madis Metsamart and Vambola Krigul (percussion).
