In May Pille Lill Music Fund’s concert series will continue with nine concerts.
First concert in Master School series will be held on May 7 at 7 pm at the House of the Brotherhood of Blackheads in Tallinn, where pianist Aksel Kolstad (Norway) will perform. Same concerts will be held on May 8 at 6 pm at Sagadi Manor, May 12 at 7 pm at Tartu University Assembly Hall and May 13 at 7 pm at Pärnu Town Hall.
First concert in Music of the Soul series will take place on May 14 at 7 pm at Häädemeeste Culture Centre, where Geraldine Casanova (soprano), Jaak Lutsoja (accordion) and Tanel Liiberg (double bass) will perform.
Music of the Soul continues on May 16 at 3 pm at Keila St Michael’s Church and May 30 at 1 pm at St Martin’s Llutheran Church in Türi with concerts of string quartet Prezioso – Hanna-Liis Nahkur (violin), Mari-Katrina Suss (violin), Helena Altmanis (viola) and Andreas Lend (cello). The program consists of music by Robert Schumann and Sergei Prokofiev.
On May 19 at 3 pm, piano quintet Aestus estus – Mart Saluri (violin), Kaido Kopli (violin), Markus-Ülori Vokksepp (viola), Theodor Peeter Sink (cello) and Kristjan Veermäe (piano) – will perform at the Estonian National Library in the Young Master School series. The program consists of music by Robert Schumann.
On May 22 at 5 pm, Master School concert will be held in Russian Culture Centre in Tallinn, where New Tallinn Trio – Harry Traksmann (violin), Kaido Kelder (cello) and Marrit Gerretz-Traksmann (piano) – will perform music by Sergei Rachmaninov, Dmitri Shostakovich and Aaro Pertmann.
Also concerts in C’est La Vie restaurant & café will continue. On May 1 at 7 pm, Olga Zaitseva (vocal), Maria Kondratjeva (vocal) and Vsevolod Pozdejev (piano) will perform with the program titled The Evenings near Moscow…. On May 6 and 22 at 7 pm, Erkki Otsman (vocal) and Andranik Kechek (piano) will perform program Bella Italia. Norwegian pianist Aksel Kolstad will perform in the restaurant on May 9 at 5 pm. On May 13 and 27 at 7 pm, the concert of Geraldine Casanova (soprano) and Jaak Lutsoja (accordion) offers program titled as Paris, Mon Amour. On May 15 and 29 at 7 pm, Duo SaxPiano will perform music by Raimond Valgre, Cole Porter and Charlie Parker. On May 20 at 7 pm, Jaak Lutsoja (accordion) and Tanel Liiberg (double bass) will perform music by Astor Piazzolla, Richard Galliano and Jaak Lutsoja. More information: C’est La Vie restaurant & café
