Pärnu City Orchestra performed in Helsinki Temppeliaukio

On November 21, Pärnu City Orchestra gave concert „Magic of Estonian Sound“ in Finland’s reputable concert place Temppeliaukio Church. The concert was held within the St. Martin’s fair and Estonian music forum in Helsinki. The concert offered interesting cross-section of Estonian music and beseemed with the celebration of the 90th anniversary of the Estonian Republic. The program consisted Andrus Kallastu’s ballad for voice and orchestra Leather trader Pontus, Toivo Tulev’s flute concert Deux and Arvo Pärt’s First symphony Polyphonic. The soloists were soprano Kai Kallastu and flautist Monika Mattiesen, conducted by Mikk Murdvee.
