International Rostrum of Composers takes place from June 9 to 13 in Dublin. 29 radio stations and 50 musical works from all over the world participate in the event organised by International Music Council and Irish radio Lyric FM. Estonia is represented by Galina Grigorjeva’s and Tatjana Kozlova’s works.
Galina Grigorjeva’s Cantus for vocal soloists and early music ensemble (performed by Hortus Musicus) and Tatjana Kozlova’s Circles for chamber ensemble (performed by Ensemble U:) will participate in the competition. Tiia Teder, chief editior of Estonian Klassikaraadio, will take part in the work of jury of Rostrum.
International Rostrum of Composers is composition contest taking place via radio where contemporary music recordings of radio stations around the world compete. The aim of the Rostrum is to introduce and disseminate works of contemporary music via national radio stations all around the globe. Most outstanding compositions will be broadcasted by more than thirty radio stations on different continents.
