The New Year’s Eve Concert „Alpine Voices“

The New Year’s Eve concerts of Estonian Sinfonietta will take place on December 28th at 7 pm in Tallinn House of Blackheads and on December 29th at 7 pm in Viljandi Traditional Music Center. The audience can enjoy merry pieces by Leopold and Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart and Anton Zimmermann.

To delight both the audience and also our musicians, the renowned alpine horn player Carlo Torlontano has arranged Arvo Pärt's Pari intervallo for alpine horn and strings, with the composer's approval. This extraordinary fusion of alpine horn and orchestra was premiered this summer in Italy and will offer a moment of reflection and an opportunity to look back on the past year.

Soloist of the concerts is horn player Carlo Torlontano, concertmaster is Anna-Liisa Bezrodny.
