Estonian Sinfonietta's final concert of the season "Colorful Silence"

The Estonian Sinfonietta will end its season on May 19 at 5 p.m. in the White Hall of Tallinn House of Blackheads with the concert "Colorful silence", where Robert Jürjendal's "Gamma" for electric guitar and chamber orchestra will be premiered.

The author, who is also the guitar soloist in "Gamma’s" first performance, has written: "The term "gamma" is widely used in many scientific fields. "Gamma" is a concept widely used in many scientific fields. As a composer, however, I am most interested in the subject of colour gamma, which is used in the art world as an artist's "colour passport"."

Program includes also Veljo Tormis’s "Reminiscentia. Spring Sketches", Lepo Sumera’s "Music for Chamber Orchestra", Pärt Uusberg’s piano piece "Paradise" and "Silentium" from "Tabula rasa" by Arvo Pärt.

Estonian Sinfonietta’s concertmaster at this concert is Peeter Margus.
