Estonian National Male Choir’s concert tour to France and Canada

From May 15 to 17, Estonian National Male Choir under the baton of its chief conductor Mikk Üleoja will give two a cappella concerts in France within the Festival de la Voix de Châteauroux. Concerts will be held on May 15 at theatre Equinoxe and May 17 at Notre-Dame Church. The program mainly consists of music by Estonian composers like Andres Uibo, Galina Grigorjeva, Cyrillus Kreek and Veljo Tormis, but also music by Giovanni Gabrieli and Francics Poulenc will be performed. Additionally, Estonian National Male Choir will give two workshops.

At the end of May, Estonian National Male Choir with Mikk Üleoja will be touring in Ontario, Canada. From May 21 to 31, the choir will have concerts in Toronto, Peterborough, Ottawa, Hamilton, Exeter and Guelph, performing music by Veljo Tormis, Galina Grigorjeva, Cyrillus Kreek, Ester Mägi, Giovanni Gabrieli, Giovanni Bonato and Eric Whitacre. Estonian National Male Choir features musicians Aare Tammesalu (cello) and Norman Reintamm (organ). On May 30, male choir performs together with Toronto Estonian Male Choir and Carthedral Bluffs Symphony Orchestra under the direction of Norman Reintamm in Scaraborough, Toronto, performing music by Villem Kapp, Evald Aav, Gustav Ernesaks, Heino Eller, Arvo Pärt, Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart and Johannes Brahms. Additionally, Estonian National Male Choir will give several workshops.
