Estonian music and musicians at the Baltic Sea Festival



Baltic Sea Festival takes place from August 23 to 30 in Swedish Radio concert hall Berwaldhallen. Festival aiming to create a better future for the Baltic Sea region brings together world class musicians: Swedish Radio Symphony Orchestra, the Swedish Radio Choir, Royal Opera Orchestra and Royal Opera Chorus, Mariinsky Theatre Orchestra and others. Among others, Estonian National Symphony Orchestra, pianist Mihkel Poll and conductor Neeme Järvi will appear on the sage on August 27. The program consists of Eduard Tubin’s Symphony No. 5, Lars-Erik Larsson’s Pastoral Suite and Edvard Grieg’s Piano Concerto in A minor with young Estonian star soloist Mihkel Poll. Estonian music can be listened more: Arvo Pärt’s Da pacem Domine will be performed at the concert of Swedish Radio Choir on August 28. Both concerts will be live broadcast at 7.03 pm on Swedish Radio P2.
