Today, on March 3 at 7 pm, Tallinn Chamber Orchestra will jointly perform with Kymi Sinfonietta at Kotka Concert Hall in Finland. The concert will be held within the festival Kymijoen Lohisoitto Music Festival and celebrates the 60th anniversary of Tallinn and Kotka becoming sister cities and also marks the festival’s 20th anniversary, 150th anniversary of the birth of Jean Sibelius and 80th birthday of Arvo Pärt. Tallinn Chamber orchestra and Kymi Sinfonietta under the baton of Atso Almila (Finland) features soloists Mia Huhta (soprano, Finland), Harry Traksmann (violin, Estonia) and Olga Voronova (violin, Estonia).

The program consists of Alfred Schnittke’s „Moz-Art à la Haydn“, Arvo Pärt’s „Trisagion“ and Jean Sibelius’s Symphony No. 5, tone-poem „Luonnotar“ and songs „Säv, säv, susa“ and „Var det en dröm?“.
