On September 18 and 19, the new music ensemble of the Estonian Academy of Music and Theatre under the direction of Taavi Kerikmäe will perform in Seoul within the new music festival. Ensemble was invited to participate at the festival by the new music ensemble of the Seoul National University College of Music, which performed in Estonia within the Autumn festival of the Estonian Academy of Music and Theatre in 2007.
On September 18, the program of joint concert consists of music by Estonian and Korean composers. On September 19, the new music ensemble of the Estonian Academy of Music and Theatre will perform works by Arvo Pärt, Toivo Tulev, Helena Tulve and Erkki-Sven Tüür. Also Estonian composer Toivo Tulev will give a lecture on Estonian music.
The same program as on September 19, will be performed within the Autumn festival of the Estonian Academy of Music and Theatre on September 23 at 5 pm in Estonian Academy of Music and Theatre.
