Opening concert of the Estonian Association of Professional Musicians at Kadrioru Palace

On September 13, opening concert of the new season of the Estonian Association of Professional Musicians will take place at Kadrioru Palace at 6 pm in series Academic Chamber Music. Violinist Urmas Vulp and harpsichordist Lembit Orgse will play sonatas for violin and harpsichord and Parita for solo violin by Johann Sebastian Bach.

Urmas Vulp is mainly active as a chamber musician who has performed in many places around the world. He founded Tallinn String Quartet, where he plays first violin. Estonian music has a special place among his repertoire. He is also pedagogue in Estonian Academy of Music and Theatre.

Lembit Orgse is active both as an interpret of early music and pianist. He has performed with various chamber ensembles in Estonia as well as abroad and given several master courses. He works as a pedagogue and the head of piano department in Tallinn Georg Ots Music School and as a lecturer in Estonian Academy of Music and Theatre.
