Erkki-Sven Tüür’s works in Germany and Poland

On October 15, Erkki-Sven Tüür’s Requiem will be performed in Stuttgart Saint Mathews Church by Motettenchor and Kammerphilharmonie Stuttgart, conductor is Simon Schorr. Requiem is composed in 1994 in memoriam conductor Peeter Lilje.

On October 19, Britten Sinfonia under conducting by James MacMillan will perform Tüür’s Action.Passion.Illusion in Warsaw Philharmonic Hall, Poland. The three-works cycle was composed in 1993.

Already on October 20, Britten Sinfonia with James MacMillan will perform in Tallinn at the opening concert of the NYYD Festival. James MacMillan will conduct Tõnu Kõrvits’s work, as well as his own music.
