On March 15, cantata Children Look Upon the Earth… for two soloists, mixed choir and symphony orchestra by Mart Siimer will be premiered at Tallinn Methodist Church at 6 pm. New piece will be performed by soloists Helen Lokuta (mezzo soprano) and Raul Mikson (tenor), Coro Consonante and orchestra Collegium Consonante under the baton of Lehari Kaustel.

Canata Children Look Upon the Earth… was composed in 2008 and is dedicated to children who has died already before given birth or died after delivery. In addition to music, also Estonian poetry, among them texts composed especially for that piece by Indrek Hirv and Doris Kareva, plays the central part of the work.

The idea of the concert is initialized by Council of Estonian Churches and is dedicated to children who have passed away, but whose souls still live in us.
