New works by Robert Jürjendal, Raul Sööt and Tauno Aints will be premiered

From 20 to 22 September, new works by Robert Jürjendal, Raul Sööt and Tauno Aints will be premiered at the concerts On 6 Strings 4 Voices in Tallinn, Viljandi and Rakvere. Robert Jürjendal’s This Night Was Long (text by Doris Kareva) for chamber choir and 3 electric guitar, Raul Sööt’s Quieter than Silence (text by Raul sööt) for chamber choir and 2 guitar and Tauno Aints’ Concerto for electric guitar and mixed choir (text from folklore) will be performed under the guidence of Daniel Reuss by Estonian Philharmonic Chamber Choir, guitarists Marzi Nyman (Finland), Ain Agan, Paul Daniel and Weekend Guitar Trio (Robert Jürjendal, Tõnis Leemets, Mart Soo).

Concerts will be held on September 20 at 3 pm at Estonia Concert Hall in Tallinn, September 21 at 6 pm at Viljandi Traditional Music Centre and September 22 at 6 pm at Culture Centre of Rakvere.

Concerts are produced together with the Viljandi Guitar Festival. The concert in Tallinn belongs to the festival program dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the Estonia theatre and concert house.
