Indrek Liit

Indrek Liit graduated from Palade Elementary School and Rudolf Tobias Kärdla Children’s Music School in accordion in 1999. In 2004, he graduated from Georg Ots Tallinn Music School in accordion, where he facultatively studied also composition. The same year, he continued his studies in Estonian Academy of Music and Theatre in composition under Helena Tulve.

Indrek Liit’s ensemble work Studium was performed in Estonian Music Days Festival in 2005. Within the program of European Capital of Culture Tallinn 2011, Liit together with his ensemble gave a concert of tangos in Salme Culture Centre. In 2012, Liit performed his music at the festival Hiiu Folk.

Indrek Liit’s music has been released on CD "Suur N" (Indrek Liit & Kuuüdi, 2010). In 2011, composer’s songbook on Madis Ristimägi’s text Tuule, vee ja kivi laulud (Songs of Wind, Water and Stone, Talmar & Põhi) was published.
