Concerts of Vox Clamantis within festival in France

From January 28 to February 1, vocal ensemble Vox Clamantis participates in the festival „La Folle Journée“ in Nante, France. They will give nine concerts with four different programs, taking place at La Cité des Congrés de Nantes.



* On January 28 and 29, program entitled „Bach and Pärt“ will be performed with pianist Claire-Marie Le Guay. The program consists of Pärt’s „The Deer’s Cry“, „And on of the Phrarisees...“, „Für Alina“, „Virgenita“ and last movement „Gebet nach dem Kanon“ from "Kanon Pokajanen" and Johann Sebastian Bach’s Sinfonia No 11 in G minor, BWV 797 and Andante from Italian Concerto, BWV 971.
* On January 30 and 31, „Passio“ by Arvo Pärt will be performed;
* Concerts on January 29 and 30 and February 1 features Johann Sebastian Bach’s „The Musical Offering“ (arranged for voices by Tõnis Kaumann);
* On January 31 and February 1, Ferenc Liszt’s „Via Crucis“ will be performed with pianist Claude Pennetier.
