The bass Andreas Fischer studied singing, school music and German studies in Stuttgart, Vienna and Tübingen. Central aspect of his work is the intensive examination of the latest music. The close cooperation with the composers is especially important to him. As a member of the Neue Vocalsolisten Stuttgart he was part of countless world premieres, radio productions and CD recordings. He is particularly interested in music theater: as a soloist he is a sought-after partner of various opera houses, ensembles and composers. Increasingly, he also devotes himself to pedagogical work and designs workshops and master classes for vocal ensembles at renowned
institutes and academies, such as the University of Vienna, the Darmstadt Summer Courses, IMPULS Graz, the Stuttgart Music Academy and the Californian Institute of the Arts. Since 2018
he is teacher for voice at the Academy of Performing Arts Baden Württemberg.
