Estonian Music Days
The final of young composers’ competition, curated by Kristo Matson
Young composer 2015 is a competition aimed at youngsters aged 12–21. It is organised by Estonian Composers’ Union and the Creative Laboratory. The competition is an extension of a summer school for young composers and is meant to provide exposure and feedback from professionals. The first round is dedicated to Arvo Pärt and Veljo Tormis and the themes are accordingly “Tricord” and/or “Folk tune”.
