Aleksandr Žedeljov

Composer, producer and arranger Aleksandr Žedeljov has graduated from Tallinn Georg Ots Music School in jazz guitar under Mart Soo (2006) and obtained Bachelor’s degree from Estonian Academy of Music and Theatre in audio-visual composition (2016) where he also studied composition with Galina Grigorjeva.

Currently he is a Musical Director at the Russian Theatre in Tallinn where he is engaged in composing, arranging, sound producing, studio recording as well as teaching rhythmics.

Aleksandr Žedeljov has written chamber and choir works, jazz music, music for film and theatre, and sound installations for exhibitions. He is producer and founder of creative collectives like Triophonix, Modulshtein and Audiokinetica.

In 2018, Žedeljov was awarded Theatre Prize of the Cultural Endowment of Estonia in the category of Best Music for the performance "IDEM" (Vaba lava, Russian Theatre).
