As a non-profit organisation financed by the Estonian Ministry of Culture, the Estonian Music Information Centre collects and distributes information about all Estonian professional classical music performers, whether alive or deceased. However, EMIC mainly focuses on contemporary professional performers.


Estonian Music Information Centre:
- provides, archives, displays on the website and distributes information about the performer’s creative activities and work both in Estonia and abroad
- provides and displays on the website news about premieres in Estonia and abroad, and other remarkable events related to performer’s creative activities
- collects, archives and catalogues sound recordings and other publications related to the performer
- promotes performer’s activities within special projects including publication of CD-s, booklets, books etc

Cooperation Contract

With its activities, EMIC represents all performers of Estonian classical music as much as possible. Performers also can conclude a Cooperation Contract with EMIC – an agreement expressing mutual interest and will to cooperate, which does not lay down strict legal obligations but ensures special attention from EMIC. The Cooperation Contract can be concluded in EMICs office in Tallinn, Kivisilla 4-2.
